Where It All Began
I'm Aswin Jay, born and raised in Kadayanallur, a town in Tenkasi district, Tamil Nadu. I grew up around technology — always curious about how things work, what makes software tick, and how I could build something of my own.
In 2020, while I was still in class 11, I started JAY TECH SOLUTIONS. It wasn't a grand launch — it was a small spark. I started learning, building, and slowly turning ideas into real products. What began as a teenager experimenting with code became a company serving 50,000+ users across India.
Today, JAY TECH SOLUTIONS is a Udyam-registered MSME with a suite of products including JAY AI, JAY POS, JAY OFFICE, JAY CLOUD, JAY ERP, JAY CRM, VAANJAY, JayVibez, JAY LMS, Jay Invoicing, and AK CODE. I bootstrapped this from zero — no funding, no team, just determination and late nights.
Education & Growth
I'm currently pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science and Business Systems at Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam. The CSBS program is unique — it blends core computer science with business management, which naturally complements my entrepreneurial journey.
At RIT, I've participated in hackathons, technical events, and industry lecture series. One of my proudest academic moments was receiving a Certificate of Merit from PALS (an IIT Alumni initiative) in partnership with the IBM India Research Lab for the Industry-Assisted Lecture Series on Systems for Large Language Models (LLMs) — as a first-year student.
Professional Experience
Beyond my own company, I worked as a Technical Support Specialist at RMK Associates in Tenkasi from May 2024 to February 2025. This role gave me invaluable exposure to enterprise IT operations, client management, and real-world problem-solving — skills that I now bring back into building better products at JAY TECH SOLUTIONS.

Personal Philosophy
I believe in building things that matter. I didn't wait for a degree or funding to start — I started with what I had. My philosophy is simple: learn by building, grow by shipping, and never stop being curious.
When I'm not coding or running my company, I'm exploring new technologies, reading about AI and business, and thinking about how to make software more accessible for Indian businesses.
